The Universe is pearlescent with a wisdom we’ll never have
enough time to study in its entirety
It’s witness to us in all our raw human flesh
Reflecting a truth in our eyes that some blink away
Simply carried within a breeze, seeding out of sight, out of mind
Those who welcome the truth to pollinate their thoughts
Carry with them a garden of insight that flourishes even in the absence of light
And they are the ones who must carry a heavy burden
For they are the light when the world goes pitch black
It’s witness to us in all our raw human flesh
Reflecting a truth in our eyes that some blink away
Simply carried within a breeze, seeding out of sight, out of mind
Those who welcome the truth to pollinate their thoughts
Carry with them a garden of insight that flourishes even in the absence of light
And they are the ones who must carry a heavy burden
For they are the light when the world goes pitch black
And vision is skewed by greed of want for the touch of such wealthRather than the want to be touched by invaluable knowledge
