Did I forget to tell you I’m broken?
That once I was a music box playing a continuous string of
merry melodies
But life dealt me a blow or two or three
And now the only sound I issue forth is a heavy silence
And the clicking, grinding sound of gears that refuse to
give up
Because I’m just waiting for the right hands with a gentle
touch
To mend me with patience and faith
Winding me in a tight embrace
Restoring my harmony
